Stats

Syntax:
stats

All player races have a set of unique attributes or 'stats' which are determined at character creation. This command shows a list of all 'non-average' body statistics. If the stat you seek is not visible on your list, you are considered to be 'average' at that stat. That assumes, of course that the stat is applicable to your race. For example, if your race can't fly, you won't have a flight agility stat. All stats are rated in comparison to other members of your own race. For example, average strength for a human might be very strong compared to a goblin.

All skills use a group of your stats to calculate your learning rate or how well you can do a desired task. Brawling, for example, uses weight, strength, and balance. It is possible to increase certain stats after character creation through the diligent practice of skills.
Which stats? Which skills? That is for you to discover as you play!

A list of all possible stats are:
Height, weight, strength, reaction speed, dexterity, balance, health, stamina, will, intelligence, aura, touch, hearing, smell, taste, night vision, dark vision, distance vision, detail vision, flight agility, and flight endurance.

A list of definitions of the stats:
1) Height: How tall you are.
2) Weight: How much you weigh.
3) Strength: Your physical strength.
4) Hearing: How well you can hear. For instance, the higher hearing you have, the better chance you'll have of hearing someone shouting for help far away. (A useful command for this is "listen".)
5) Smell: How sensitive you are to scents. The better you are at smelling, the more you'll be able to smell. (A useful command for this is "smell")
6) Taste: How well you can taste things. A high taste could allow you to sense poisons if the food was infected. (A useful command for this is "taste".)
7) Touch: How sensitive your fingers, tentacles, etc. are. The higher touch is, the more of a chance you'll have to be able to feel slight changes in textures. (A useful command for this is "feel".)
8) Intelligence: Your ability to process and retain information. A higher intelligence gives you a better chance of learning things more quickly than normal. Keep in mind that while this is a measure of your character's intelligence, only you can provide wisdom and cleverness.
9) Distance vision: Ability to perceive objects at a distance. Distance vision affects sight range in the wilderness, along with light levels and a variety of other factors.
10) Detail vision: How sharp your eyes are to details. The higher your detail vision is, the better chance you'll have of seeing minute details or hidden objects/beings.
11) Flight Agility: How well you are able to maneuver in the air.
12) Flight endurance: How long you are able to continue flying. The higher the stat is, the longer you can fly.
13) Night vision: How well you can see under conditions of low light.
14) Dark vision: A pseudomagical ability that helps you to see when there's no light at all.
15) Dexterity: Fine motor skills, or the ability to manipulate small objects with your hands.
16) Reaction speed: Overall quickness. A high reaction speed will be useful in your dodging and attack speed skills.
17) Balance: Overall physical coordination. Balance is affected by how much you are carrying. If you have a heavy pack, you will naturally be more constrained.
18) Aura: How in tune you are with magical energies. The higher it is, the better you will be at manipulating the energies used in spells.
19) Will: Willpower --in general, how stubborn you can be if you want to.
20) Stamina: How long you can last in fighting, running, or doing an activity that will make you tired before you pass out.
21) Health: Physical constitution, or resistance to poison and physical damage. Health is also factored into things like disease resistance and healing rate.
